France Honeymoon from Pakistan: Itinerary and Tips

By Ali Baba Travel Advisor9 October 2026 6 min read

France is a classic honeymoon destination, with Paris for romance, the Loire Valley for castles and the Riviera for the coast. Here is how a couple travelling from Pakistan can plan it.

How many days do you need?

Five to seven days is enough for Paris with a day trip. Eight to ten days lets you add the French Riviera or the Loire Valley without rushing. If you also want Switzerland, add three to four days and travel by train.

A simple route

Spend three or four nights in Paris: the Eiffel Tower at night, a Seine cruise, the Louvre, Montmartre and Versailles. Add a day for Disneyland Paris if you wish. Then travel by high-speed train to Nice for two or three nights on the Riviera, or by road to the Loire Valley castles. Return to Paris for your flight.

Best months

April to June and September to October are mild and comfortable with fewer crowds. July and August are warm and busy, and hotels cost more. December is cold but offers lights and Christmas markets.

Where to stay

In Paris, choose a hotel near a metro line so that you can reach sights easily, and compare central arrondissements with quieter areas for the price. On the Riviera, a hotel a short walk from the sea saves money compared with the seafront.

Halal food

Halal restaurants are easy to find in Paris and Nice, but plan ahead in smaller towns and keep snacks for long travel days.

The visa

France is in the Schengen area, so Pakistani passport holders need a Schengen visa. For a France-focused trip you normally apply through the French representation. Prepare your marriage certificate, itinerary, hotel bookings, bank statements, proof of employment or business and travel insurance. Apply well ahead of your dates. Ali Baba Travel Advisor can prepare the file and the trip together, but approval is decided by the consulate and is never guaranteed.
